The Association of Ethical Loan Officers was developed as an organization designed to provide consumers with valuable information. It provides a much needed community for loan officers throughout the country to let their clients know they are committed to providing higher standards of service.

How do our clients know? How do potential clients know? Once you join the NAELO you will have access to the NAELO Marketing Plan that spells out the steps to maximize your membership. By following the steps outlined in this plan, you will quickly receive reviews and referrals from NAELO.com. You will quickly separate yourself from your competition.

In addition, you will receive access the NAELO logos for use in all of your print materials. Logos are available in color and black & white for your use on business cards, letterheads, newsletters, etc.

Once your Professional Information is complete, clients will be able to rate your past performance and you will be able to direct new clients to NAELO.com to see that you have a verified history of Ethical performance as a loan officer.

Rating System

One of the most asked questions is, “How does the rating system work?” Quite simply, the clients is asked 5 questions, all are weighted in a manner that determines and overall score for a loan officers Ethical Rating. Our association is not designed to determine whether a loan officer is skilled at his job. It is designed to provide feedback to consumers on whether or not the loan officer behaves in an ethical manner and integrity. Once someone completes a review, you will be notified via email that you have received a review and will be asked to validate submitter of the review. You will not see what the answers to the review are. Once validated, you will be able to see the review and offer any rebuttal if needed. This system is in place to prevent people who are not past clients from submitting any information about you.

As part of the review process, your past clients will be asked for referrals and these referrals will be sent directly to you.

Your reviews will be tabulated cumulatively and your rating will be visible for consumers visiting NAELO.com
